OUR PURPOSE

Our Church exists to REACH the non-believing

community, to CONNECT them with other Christians,

to help them GROW in their faith, and to challenge

them to DISCOVER their ministry and HONOR

God with their lives.

...

REACH is our word for (3) Evangelism.

CONNECT is our word for (4) Fellowship.

GROW is our word for (5) Discipleship.

DISCOVER is our word for (2) Ministry.

HONOR is our word for (1) Worship.

...

1) The Purpose of Worship

We will celebrate God’s presence and HONOR him with our lifestyle. We are all created for the purpose of worship. (Romans 12:1)

2) The Purpose of Ministry

We will help people DISCOVER their God-given gifts that are to be used in the body of Christ. We will encourage and provide opportunities to put them into practice through ministries and mission opportunities.
(1 Corinthians 12:1-31)

3) The Purpose of Evangelism

We will REACH the least, the last, and the lost and share the good news of Jesus Christ with others that don’t have a personal relationship with him. (Acts 1:8)

4) The Purpose of Fellowship

We will welcome and CONNECT others into the fellowship of believers, identified as the body of Christ, after they have become new believers or are immature in their faith. (Ephesians 2:19)

5) The Purpose of Discipleship

We will build up or strengthen believers as they focus on intentionally following Jesus. (Hebrews 6:1) However, this is a lifelong process and cannot be measured by human standards. So healthy discipleship will GROW under spiritual leaders willing to plant and water seeds. The goal will be to plant seeds and allow God to grow them into maturity while in ministry and the years ahead. (1 Corinthians 3:6-7)

...

1) Worship (Love God):  “Love the Lord Your God with All Your Heart.”
